A note from the curator

Beauty, quietly kept.

NIXIE is a small, deliberate cinema for those who still believe a body can be a landscape — and that looking, when done with care, is itself a kind of tenderness.

We started this because the internet had grown loud, and beauty had grown cheap. Every image shouted. Nothing was allowed to linger.

So we built a quieter room. Films of three to nine minutes. Light, hush, and the time it takes to look properly. Women — credited, paid, met as collaborators — at the centre of the frame.

What you will find here is not pornography. It is closer to a perfume, a black-and-white photograph held a moment too long, the last shot of a film you cannot quite name.

We curate slowly. A handful of new films each month. Sometimes none. Each one is a small thing made well, then left to breathe.

We promise three things.

Restraint. We will not show you what we have already shown you. We will not chase virality. The library will stay small enough to be loved.

Respect. Every model is over 18, credited, fairly paid, and consents to every frame, every distribution, every cut. We hold the rights only as long as they wish us to.

Privacy. Your subscription is discreet. Your viewing is yours. We do not advertise on this platform, and we never will.

If any of this makes sense to you — welcome.

The lights are low. There's a chair waiting.
